Marcellus & Utica Shale Service Center Opens

January 08, 2014

SAMCO Enterprises, Inc., a leader in compressor valve repair, sales and manufacturing since 1972, has opened a new company-owned, full-service facility near Uniontown, PA. The new 8,000 sf. full-service facility will be able to repair all makes of compressor valves on-site, instead of shipping to other locations for repair. The machine shop will also be able to repair and lap packing glands, and repair pistons and rods.  The facility will match SAMCO’s other locations in boasting a huge spare parts inventory including valve repair kits, packing and piston rings to support the newer horsepower being set in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays, as well as, the older machines scattered throughout the region.

“SAMCO has been a force here in the Northeast United States for years” said Joe Frisby, Vice President of sales for SAMCO. “The time finally came where we needed a facility to better serve our ever growing customer base, and the ability to have a sizeable spare parts inventory at arm’s reach”, Frisby noted. “Our location is very strategic as we are no more than 4 hours from anywhere in the Marcellus/Utica play and most locations are within 2 hours which is important as reducing down-time and providing top-notch quality and service for our customers is truly our mission” Frisby added.

SAMCO Enterprises, Inc. is a 41 year old family-owned company with expertise in compressor valve repair, manufacturing, application engineering, and compressor parts sales and repair with headquarters in Houston, Texas, and locations in Oklahoma City, OK, Tyler, Texas, and Uniontown, PA.
